Quick, add it to my KALendar: October KnitAlong!

There’s a definite nip in the air and in the mountains the leaves are burning with color. Time for a beautiful leaf-shaped shawl by Natalia at Elfmoda! Elegant and beautifully real--complete with lacy veins—it’s the perfect October project to finish just in time for hot mugs of chocolate on the porch.

The Maple Leaf Shawl KAL starts the first week of October and I just couldn’t help running the length of the store, looking for hidden leaves. Favorites? A shimmery copper leaf in Juniper Moon’s Findley lace (color no. 28), a remind-me-of-summer-green version in Cascade’s Alpaca Lace Paints no. 9989, and a wintry leaf in the soft white of a first frost (Plymouth’s Cape Town Collection Kid Gloss no. 10).
